I have been working at Realtech

    Pros

Good working conditions, and fair treatment.
    Understanding of personal needs.

    Cons

Difficulties in communication due to Board level in Waldorf Germany.
Very focused on a small and very focused form of consulting, so you need to travel alot.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take chances on new consulting and remote support work and hire more people, because you need more resources to cover the work that is required.

    Cons

    RealTech INC.
My employment with RealTech was terminated June 21, 2013. Due to the Company not reaching their 2012-2013 predictions there has been a reduction in work force. The 5 items below is a summary of Business News Articles which are attached.

    1) DGAP-Adhoc: REALTECH AG: Personnel changes in the Managing Board / profit warning: negative EBIT in FY 2013

    Pros

Pros – Pleasant people and management, decent compensation, challenging projects.

    Cons

Smaller company, little room for advancement in career. Wages and benefits are lower than comparable larger companies.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look into building up senior consultants who can better lead the newer, junior consultants.

Former Employee - Consultant in Walldorf, Baden-Wurttemberg (Germany)

I worked at Realtech full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Good ability to make new connections into companies like SAP, Microsoft, SuSE, VMware; nice colleagues

    Cons

No visible long-term strategy, ad-hoc management, no real career opportunities (even if you are willing and able to act, you are not allowed to and get bad feedback about that)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Think about a long-term strategy, form a good middle management, translate this strategy into actions and communicate these actions, last but not least: be honest.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
