    Pros

You get to work on your own and get a different experience every day. Hard work is rewarded, good benefits and bonuses. National company with plenty of options for relocation and advancement.

    Cons

Lots of change in the last 18 months with mergers and acquisitions. This has led to stalling of rate increases.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

be more open and honest about whats happening with the bigger picture due to mergers. Employees hear alot of uncertainty about policy changes, benefits, pay rate increases etc.

Great working with hospital and nursing home staff, if you like overtime then this is the place to work!

    Cons

Hours and make calls etc. To fulfill them. Crappy crappy work phones!

    I worked at RecoverCare

    Pros

The pay, and the freedom of the road, thats pretty much it

    Cons

Poor management, poor training, I was not trained on how to drive a box truck, and got fired when I got in an accident. It was the WORST job I ever had to date, this company was a joke when I worked there. I don't know the condition is in now considering I worked there 2 years ago

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better training, better logistics, and for God sake make it easier to obtain a uniform

I worked at RecoverCare full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

PTO was excellent, opportunities to meet new people and develop relationships at facilities that were serviced. Sharp financial team beginning to communicate the strategy better towards the end of my time there.

    Cons

Felt a disconnect with upper management. For a few years, upper management was a carousel of people, it seems to have settled in the last few years. Not much upward mobility.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look for more opportunities to identify potential leaders in the ranks and pipelines to move them up. Have a wholesale commitment to eliminating silo mentality between divisions in the company (i.e. Ops, Sales, Repair, CS). I believe the Delivery Tech's had soured mentalities towards management because they constantly felt out of the loop and they were the ones that had to constantly change and adapt to new policies at the whim of any high-up in any department.

I have been working at RecoverCare as a contractor (less than a year)

    Pros

Great pay and the co-ordinator is friendly and helpful.

    Cons

Would be much better if it were a fulltime position. There are no benefits but thats to be expected for contrators.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You would probably keep more of us contractors by giving us a bigger area therefore giving us more opportunities for visits, even if you cut the hourly rate by $10.00

    HELL ON EARTH

    I worked at RecoverCare

    Pros

Meeting new people at facilities. Lots of time to reflect on what poor life choices you've made in the past that's gotten you into this horrible place.

    Cons

EVERYTHING! Let's start at the top of this pyramid. Upper management is a joke that's out of touch with reality and has no concept of how to treat the employees that are the face of the company. D O M's are lazy and demand the world yet give you no tools to do your job i.e. equipment, reliable transportation, and a safe warehouse to work out of. Ops managers are also pathetic wannabes that would be the equivalent of mall security. If you are looking for a job that's not rewarding and leaves you feeling like you've done something wrong, then this is it. Don't do it. It's not worth 14 an hour an 30 cent raises. Not to mention the company is in constant turmoil, merging with other failing DME companies , and changing their ridiculous policies weekly.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Fire all of yourselves or commit mass suicide.
