I have been working at Red Bull full-time

    Pros

Innovative and creative people. Always a new challenge and outside of box thinking. Great atmosphere and culture of the company.

    Cons

At times you do feel that you are only a small part of a big company. but other than that there are no real cons. Perhaps more development opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great management and culture at the company. Maybe offer more development opportunities in terms of skills development for new entrants and employees.

I worked at Red Bull full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

This company allowed me to experience some of the coolest days/nights of my life. The culture/lifestyle of the people in the company is contagious and makes you want to continue to evolve and innovate the way you think and work. Benefits are amazing, time-off is amazing

    Cons

This is not a 9a-5p company, you are working ALL of the time. Communication between field teams and HQ can be very diluted, making it hard for field teams to understand HQ expectations, as well as difficult to give feedback to HQ that is actually taken notice of. Yearly goals are difficult to reach when new strategy is randomly introduced in the middle of the year.

    Advice to Management

Personally, I had exceptional managers. Your manager greatly determines the experience you have within your position and within your market. Advice: Allow your employees to gain more experience with the tasks you take on in order to increase the potential of a promotion for them

  3. Amazing place to work, but regularly overworked and unappreciated

I worked at Red Bull full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Stimulating environment working in a place where the cars are designed and built. Large budget for training and personal development and the ability to work with the latest technologies.

    Cons

Internal politics and sniping between departments can ruin productivity. Long hours expected, poor pay rises (sub inflationary 2%) considering their success over the past few years. Don't feel particularly appreciated in IT as aero, simulation, vehicle dynamics departments are treated as royalty.
