    Pros

Great management, impeccable food standards, very clean work kitchen and dining area, great seafood knowledge training, everything is very regulated and standardized.

    Cons

STRICT dress code, strict food presentation and food recommendation requirements, fast paced environment, customers and management expect a lot (perfection) from you, and server's sections are very small.

I have been working at Red Lobster part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

It's always busy for the most part. RL has went down in the past few years though. So their customer base consist of rednecks and ppl who don't know how to tip. So keep that in mind. You have to have at least 15 or more tables to make $100.

    Cons

RL is too concerned about turning tables and making a profit. They aren't really concerned with their employees wants or needs. I find myself spending way to long in the kitchen and not enough time with the customers. They cut labor in the kitchen (salad maker and AC) and expect the server to make salads, AC food, run food, and provide excellent customer service. It's a little ridiculous at times.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop cutting labor and take servers well being into consideration.

I worked at Red Lobster full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Good Management. Food is good and Red Lobster has a bit of status above similar restuarants, meaning that customers tend to tip better.

    Cons

The trays. I believe that you are literally asking for trouble if you have dinner trays that don't feature handles of some sort. They are slippery at times, and can be difficult to handle.

Not a bad place to work. As far as a restaurant job goes, it could be a lot worse. I am speaking from experience.

    I worked at Red Lobster

    Pros

The biggest pro is that there is room for upward mobility as long as you have a good attitude and work hard.

    Cons

The leadership varies, depending on the management. Some of my managers were excellent. Others, not so much.
