I have been working at Red Robin (More than a year)

    Pros

fun environment to work in, you create your schedule. Easy menu you learn. Very welcoming environment.

    Cons

Very pushy with sales, managers make money off of you if you hit the sales numbers. Waitresses receive no benefits for having high sales.

    Pros

Great co workers, pay was OK, fast pace work place.

    Cons

Under staffed, the men that are there are very sexist. Men made more money then the female workers. Don't even hope for a raise never got one even when I was told I was going to get one. Management treats workers like dirt under their shoes and if you had any complaints or problems was told to get over it because I can be replaced. This was the most unprofessional place I have ever worked at makes me wonder how corporate is.

    Advice to Management

To treat your employees with the respect they deserve. Don't put people down when they call you out on the unfair atmosphere. Act like professionals not mean spirited children.

I worked at Red Robin full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Salary was good for an assistant manager. That's the nicest thing I can say about them. Training was standard 12 weeks

    Cons

Upper management was horrific. This a company that only cares about the bottom line dollars. They pay lip service to quality of life, but god forbid, your labor is to high.

    Advice to Management

expand training, go over little details, don't cut people at 6pm on a friday...

I have been working at Red Robin part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

my co workers are amazing. there are times where we will fight over something small, but by the end of the night we are all there to make sure that we help each other out no matter the situation

    Cons

management is the best. they are more there to tell you what you have done wrong and very rarely do they tell you that you did something right. if and when you ask for more hours, unless you speak Spanish (personal observation only) will they give hours

    Advice to Management

actually listen to your staff. as much of it is complaints about hours and shifts, most of it is because you think very little of us and only do what corp tells you and you never stick up for your staff
