    Pros

really good culture. They do hire some great people in lower management roles.

    Cons

The company is disorganized. They hire amazing talent and then don't know what to do with them so they make them bend, and change to fit them into their box, which is the only way they know how to work. The senior leadership is an old boys club - no women in power.

    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

The team (particularly the director level group) was smart and dedicated and the directors saved the company from disaster from as long as they could. The brand was fun, the discounts and sample sales broke up the boredom and it was great working in downtown SF.

    Cons

The senior management team (3 different CEOs in a 2 year period) was a disaster = no vision, no leadership and lots and lots of bad decisions along the way doomed this company. There was terrible wasteful spending on IT project that went nowhere, expensive executives came and went with big severances, and the politics killed off many young bright people who went elsewhere.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

quit! Ok, kidding aside, you were people who were wrong for the roles, you hired poorly and the whole company ran on the backs of your directors, who could only save you from yourselves for so long. Next time you manage a company, make smarter decisions, fire bad choices quickly, and keep your eye on the objective which is MAKE A PROFIT.
