I have been working at RedVision full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Professional growth opportunities, new skills, training, approachable leadership team, work remotely, flexibility and fun.

    Cons

If you apply for a remote position AND you have a computer/programs that meet RedVision's requirements, then there is little monetary investment needed to work here. However, if you have to purchase a new computer and the required programs to use only for this position, make sure this is something you really want. Ask questions. Ask to possibly shadow another employee to see if this is the right fit for you BEFORE you make this type of investment.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE-HAVE NO CARES FOR THEIR EMPLOYEES AT ALL

I have been working at RedVision part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Could not really think of any.

    Cons

They treat their employees like trash. Gave 3 dayes notice that they were knocking us down from FT to PT 25 hours a week and we lost ALL our benefits. They only gave us 24 hours to decide if we wanted to stay as PT. THEN they had us train people in India how to do our jobs.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get with the times!!! You don't treat people the way that you have in this day and age!!! Much better companies to work for than to put up with your crap.

Seems like a great deal, but the job isn't as great as they make it out to be in training

I worked at RedVision part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

You can create your own schedule. You never have to work more than you want to, and you can work from home. Production pay scale isn't that bad, provided there's actually work for you to do. This job is great if you have another primary source of income.

    Cons

You have to purchase your own computer and software to work here. They do NOT reimburse you for these expenses. If you have a Mac, you can't use it. You'll need to go out and buy a Windows computer. They paid us a straight $9/hour while we were in training, then put us on production pay a month later. For the first month, this worked out well. You didn't have to work a full 8-hour day but still got a paycheck comparable to if you had. Then, suddenly, there was no work. We would sit around, not getting paid, refreshing the queues to see if anything had popped up. Then, at the height of our desperation, they started hiring new people for our team, and they competed with us for the five jobs that would show up each day.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't hire more people when you don't have enough work to keep the team you already have busy.

I have been working at RedVision part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Good pay, training and opportunities.

    Cons

Work is cyclic with real estate trends, but almost all real estate related jobs are. This is something that is to be expected.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have found management to be available, open and concerned. They have made efforts when available to 'find' something else I can train for when work in my specific area has been slow.

    Pros

If you are a male - only pro

    Cons

Pass over of well qualified females for upper management positions. They have no regard for employees (especially females). Former employees (females) have pending lawsuits. Undoubtedly more to come.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

No point in giving advise to management, they're all men!

I worked at RedVision full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Ability to work from home

    Cons

you will be hired if you are a female but that will be short lived as you will soon be replaced by a male (most likely from another team within the organization) and their excuse for your termination is "Decrease in Volume" and yet they have enough volume for that "Male" candidate who takes your place. Close to 1000.00 for monitor and software for you to do this job. The company DOES NOT provide computer, monitor nor software. The person that said they do in a previous review must have been management or Brian Twibell. Ever decreasing pay. They do not pay OT appropriately, stay tuned...

    Pros

Everyone is friendly and down to earth. There aren't many software engineers but they are all high quality. The manager is top notch and wants to see his employees improve as software engineers.

    Cons

    There were no real cons.

    Pros

    Ability to work from home

    Cons

They promise you the world, they start you out at a decent $18.00/hr training rate then throw you to the wolves and put you on a pay for production model, they reduce your pay to $10/hr and nickel and dime you from there. They do not provide computer nor programs, these costs come out of your pocket. They promise you unlimited overtime to get you in the door but be very careful, they DO NOT PAY overtime properly and since they have been called out on this they no longer offer Overtime (because they dont want to pay)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management is TOP HEAVY! and they dont work off production model, need I say more!
