I worked at Rede Globo full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

In general, it's a good company with very challenging work. Internship program is amazing and it's a great company for a first job. Benefits are GREAT and most people is very friendly.

    Cons

Unfortunately, HR does a bad job with the employees. Internal recruiting is intimidating, they don't spread corporate values (except for interns). There are many unprepared managers and processes are faulty.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

You should review everything about HR processes, training, etc. You are losing young talented people because of it. When people quit, ask them why!

I have been working at Rede Globo

    Pros

The possibility to learn and know about the last technology in broadcast technology, but this not happen in all tv globo sites.

    Cons

Managers and supervisors that don't respect anyone like person, most part of them are unprepared technically and intelectually to stay in a position with so responsability. The salaries are just OK compared to the other companies where you work less and they paid less.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

People should be trained before assume a position and specially after. You should reconize the effort of the team with words and action.

I have been working at Rede Globo

    Pros

If you interested to know about tv systems, Rede Globo is a very good place to start your career, but not a place to stay so long.

    Cons

Rede Globo is a relative company and it makes decisions and promotions very unfair no matter how good you are or your relationship with co-workers. It doesn't matters.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

They really should review their way to do things. There are lots of supervisors and managers very unprepared about doing with people and personal problems.

I have been working at Rede Globo

    Pros

Great environment, great facility, great people, great projects.

    Cons

Still missing tools to evaluate the professionals correctly. They need to implement tools and processes that allow them to better understand their team and implement a culture that leads to Meritrocracy.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give the professionals the freedom to manage their own work. Creat e culture for continuous improvement. Provide the people who really do the work with the power to decide how, when and what to do.
