Treat your Personnel staff as working adults and not like 6th graders.

I worked at Redondo Beach USD full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

There are some great parents and students in this community. The facilities are great.

    Cons

The parents and students are always right. Don't expect any administrator to have your back because you will be first in the line of fire.

    Advice to Management

If you want whats best for the students, then you had better take care of the teachers.

    Pros

sweet hours. low stress compared to private sector jobs.

    Cons

The only thing concerning the teachers I was exposed to at RUHS, Tulita, Lincoln, Washington and Adams Schools was the next three-day weekend. How sad is that? The female teachers were a bunch of whiny women all on Jenny Craig and obsessed with shopping at Target. Really? Why are you even in this job when you care little if at all about educating children?

    Advice to Management

Out with the old. In with the new. Please.
