Great work/life balance and emphasis on being the customer

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsReebok is an incredibly fun place to work and has very talented employees. There is a major emphasis on being the customer from trying out CrossFit to taking fitness class at the gym. Everyone really embraces the fitness lifestyle they're selling products for.

ConsNot sure that the companies vision will be able to compete with that of other fitness brand's. There is some internal disorganization and they don't always promote from within.

Advice to Senior ManagementMake sure to keep valuable internal talent and help employees continue to grow their skill sets by providing resources and learning opportunities.

ProsPeople, company culture (crossfit, fitness, etc.), work/life balance

ConsCompany direction and product, apprenticeship program

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't treat apprentices like they are five year olds. Yes, we are recent graduates but we don't want to be spoken to like we were born a few minutes ago.

    Oh Reebok...

Apparel Technical Designer (Former Employee) Canton, MA

Pros- Working for Reebok is great for young designers looking for an opportunity. But this light bulb dims pretty quickly.

Cons- The company does not embrace thinkers
    - There are too many channels to go through when trying to complete major assignments
    - The company is known for layoffs/firing for no particular reason
    - Designers are treated like statistics and not innovators
    - The design team has a quick turn around time (new designers are scouted often to keep design cost down thus creating a team of inexperienced workers)
    - No growth opportunities unless you are willing to be quiet and go along with everything asked of you, and even then there is no promise of stability.

Advice to Senior ManagementNot sure how to amend these issue at Reebok.

    Worst management experience

Sales Associate (Current Employee) Round Rock, TX

ProsFree clothes, shoes and great discount

    ConsSales, and lack of teamwork

Advice to Senior Management1. Do not hold a store meeting calling or pining out sales associate or other manager in from of sales associates. It's not professional

    2. Respect your workers- when you respect your workers then you shall get respect. I can't stand to see managers talk about other leaders or sales associates.

    3. Don't think that everyone who works underneath you is below you. You never know when you might need a contact for a future job application.
