    I learned a lot!

Former Employee - Public Relations in Boston, MA
Former Employee - Public Relations in Boston, MA

I worked at Regan Communications Group as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

I had an internship with Regan for about four months and in that short amount of time I learned a lot about the basics of the PR industry.

    Cons

The office culture was sometimes very cliquey and uptight. However, the other interns were awesome!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get to know your employees on a more personal level!

    PR Internship

I worked at Regan Communications Group as an intern

    Pros

Great internship that allows you to learn the basics of the PR industry. Internship program is very sturctured with a provided book of all the ins and outs of the company.

    Cons

The culture is kinda weird and as an intern never really got to work with or interact with employees outside the assigned team. Too many interns per teaming, leaving not enough work

    Public Relations Intern

Former Employee - Public Relations Intern in Boston, MA

I worked at Regan Communications Group part-time

    Pros

They have a lot of high profile clients so there are some definite perks to the job. It's a very young, social company. Overall I met some nice people and learned the basics of PR.

    Cons

The culture is kind of strange and it seems like some people are taken advantage of without reaping the benefits of a promotion.

I worked at Regan Communications Group as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

-Great clients to put on your resume
-Basic experience if you haven't had a PR internship before

    Cons

You can tell almost every employee is unhappy there, which is unfortunate since they are very talented people. If you have any experience in PR or communications, I would keep away from this company--THEY DO NOT HIRE RECENT GRADS!!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take the time to talk to you employees and actually treat them with respect.

    Great Public Relations Experience!

I worked at Regan Communications Group as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

With this internship I got wonderful experience working in all aspects of PR, from behind the scenes, to events, and client relations. The office environment is very friendly with many great people to work with and learn from. I truly enjoyed my time at Regan and feel very prepared for a career in PR.

    Cons

The internship is unpaid, but the experience and chance to learn about PR balances this

I worked at Regan Communications Group full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Every now and then a client has a good event or some sort of small perk that will get you out of that office and away from your coworkers.

    Cons

Management is a joke, the employment hierarchy is mysterious and ridiculous. Nobody works because they enjoy it, it's just a resume builder. Many, many PR/marketing firms in and around Boston, look there first.

I worked at Regan Communications Group as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

I was fortunate enough to be placed with a supportive supervisor who allowed me to get hands-on experience with drafting releases, pitching article ideas, and planning events.

    Cons

I was told that Regan does not hire interns (at least right away... maybe a few years down the line). They expect interns to work 3 full days a week, unpaid, and don't consider hiring them.
