I have been working at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

People really want to get their work done, and done right. Great company culture of integrity. Lots of leftover free food from meetings. Friendly people. Rapid growth rate.

    Cons

On-boarding needs to be streamlined. The occasional mild sexual harassment case goes unreported, but this is not the norm, and seems to be concentrated in a few individuals.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have sexual harassment refreshers periodically, please. Everything else is very positive, and should continue as-is.

    I worked at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals

    Pros

They do give their permanent employees a lot; don't bother temping there & thinking you will get your foot in the door.

    Cons

The managers are totally incompetent. They seem to be reluctant to clean house if you have been there for a while. They just move them around laterally throughout different departments.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop using temporary employees unless you would actually like to hire them as permanent employees. These people see all Regeneron employees getting these wonderful benefits and are left out. Does this seem like a good idea? You have a lot of angry people. Watch the managers more carefully and don't be afraid to get rid of underperforming managers. Watch the technical training department very carefully.

I have been working at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Upwardly bound company. Information on significant decisions are shared with employees on a regular basis. Opportunity to communicate questions / concerns available to Sr. Management readily available.

    Cons

Fairness is weak during review process. Must be with company 12 months before able to apply for other positions within company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Mid-level Management should be required to take HR training and learn the skills necessary to interact and guide subordinates effectively, professionally, and fairly.

I have been working at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals as a contractor (less than a year)

    Pros

Young, energetic atmosphere. They truly believe if that treat the workers well, they'll do a great job. Open to suggestions and innovation; truly an organization that will continue to improve as it ages.

    Cons

It is a bio-pharma company; you work with some hazardous chemicals. The company provides all the safe-guards they can, but ultimately it is the responsibility of the worker to be careful.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Keep doing what you're doing!
