I have been working at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Wonderful people to work with, who are very committed to bringing forth a great product. Lost of fun and they try to keep the work/life balance a priority.

    Cons

Growing too fast - not enough space to accommodate new hires. Long hours are expected, so while you have potential for some good overtime pay, burnout is possible.

    Advice to Management

Look to what areas need the most help and focus there. Many areas are lacking and this will eventually lead to problems in production.

    Pros

Good payment. Good working environment and benefits like ice cream trucks every week and summer parties.

    Cons

It's growing really fast so there is limited office space and equipment for new employees. New buildings are under construction so this will be overcome soon.

I have been working at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Able to still learn new things while on the job, very fast moving and dynamic environment. Great coworkers and morale everybody seems happy. Great teamwork but a lot of dinosaurs not doing much but earning the big salaries

    Cons

Growing Pains, bureucracry on the rise, endless and waste of time. Need to streamline their R&D a lot of disconnection among the groups. Terrible location for commuters.

    Advice to Management

    Better Planning

I worked at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals as an intern (More than a year)

    Pros

You get a lot of exposure to the duties of a full time employee as an intern in whatever group you're in, with lots of good networking opportunities. Also, lots of free food.

    Cons

Intern program is very competitive so it's difficult to get in. Sometimes the work can be overwhelming, but help is always available.

    Advice to Management

Actively promote networking. Some interns seemed to not understand or not care about the importance of establishing good connections while there for the summer.
