    Pros

Flight benefits are pretty good, there are a few operations which seem to be happy ones. Under the right manager it could be great.

    Cons

The pay will simply never be very good, and the majority of operations at different airports seem to be unhappy ones. Training can be hard to get, things are frequently understaffed. Of course this company no longer exists, so it doesn't matter too much.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Too bad things didn't work out with the company. Seems like money was being put into things which should have been less of a priority - and airports which were profitable/sucessfull should have been given more support.

What happens when you try to do too much with too little

    Pros

Started off with a bright future. Following the Delta/ Northwest merger management tried collecting multiple regional airline ground handling subsidiaries into one group. Unfortunately they also put horrible executives in charge of running this new entity. Many once ran Independence Air into the ground too and of course the same thing happened here. They pursued unlucrative United Express ground handling contracts then bent over backwards trying to make United happy. That never happened and the company was eventually shut down and employees were all fired and rehired by fellow Delta subsidiary DGS. The only real pro is flight benefits.

    Cons

No corporate direction. Constant promises of profit sharing that never really materializes. Company demands employees pay for uniforms when this is against state law. When I brought this up to the Regional Manager he ignored it.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

No advice necessary as they all already got fired. Airline ground service is a challenging industry and the only companies that seem to be winning contracts to handle regional aircraft seem to be the lowest bidders. Unfortunately this won't likely change until the outsourcing major airlines stop relying on minimum wage handlers and are willing to pay for higher quality.

    Pros

Had decent management, pay was good, benefits excellent. Worked together almost like a family!

    Cons

Regional Elite itself wasnt the problem, it was the parent company. RE was treated like a second class outfit by the parent! RE is not longer in business, ran into the ground by the policies and procedures of the parent company!

    Pros

"Free" flights, coworkers were good but that's because everyone was in the same boat

    Cons

Mismanaged, underpaid, understaffed, management was only out for themselves and were happy to claim there was no money for employee bonuses anymore but were taking 5k-10k bonuses for themselves quarterly.
