    Pros

    great perks, included a park on the facility, cafeteria, free gym. Health insurance plans were available, medical was a little on the expensive side but availbale and cheper when compared to similar companies in Tennessee. Good work environment from other co-workers and managers/ supervisors

    Cons

    since many people usually stay for a long period of time with the company there are not many positions created, and with the mergers of Planters Bank and AmSouth less jobs were created but terminated

    Advice to Management

    good system of having a weekday off and working saturday, and hours were flexible with many schedulles available to employees to choose from.

    Pros

    Regions is a company that provides a relaxed working enviroment and really takes great care of their employees. The company provides a stress free enviroment and allows employees a variety of ways to achieve at the company.

    Cons

    In this current economic time it is hard to determine which companies will be around once the banking fallout ends and if Regions will be bought by a large bank

    Continue to support your employees across the board

    Good growth opportunities for hard workers

    Sometimes upper management is a bit rigid and unflexible to new changes, technologies etc

    Advice to Management

    Open up to change. Be flexible. Hire smart people. Get rid of white elephants who are not delivering.

    Pros

    Some groups had a lot of internal politics, but mine was absolutely wonderful. I worked with kind, intelligent, patient people who always had my back and encouraged me to succeed. I loved my job and would've stayed for the long haul if not for the merger. Employee 401K match and annual profit sharing, unlimited free cokes and juice, and plenty of opportunities to travel across the Southeast with a great group of co-workers!

    Cons

    Audit was very clique-focused. If you weren't with the "in" crowd, you were basically screwed. And if someone with influence didn't like you or were intimidated by you - again, screwed.

    Advice to Management

    Focus on merit and people who are genuine and care about the company.

    Pros

    great learning experience and good place to move up if youre a hard worker. people are exremely nice with great attitudes.

    Cons

    pay may be a little bit lower then bigger banks, but it will be less busy and demanding. great place!

    Would like a higher starting pay or maybe a bit more bonuses . less of the computer training and more hands on.

    Pros

    Great people. Good opportunities. Pretty good benefits. Excellent location in the beautiful heart of the southern United States.

    Cons

    Large corporation is always a place where some people get lost in the shuffle. Merger, TARP, and negative focus from current Washington administration have made things challenging the last three to four years.

    Great and competent leadership that provides guidance and room to work Open two-way communication throughout every level of the organization Strong culture and community support

    Cons

    Moral has been challenged by the recent economic environment and attacks on banking industry. Environment is improving dramatically with new leadership and moral improving with TARP repayment and Morgan Keegan sale.

    Advice to Management

    Continue on the path you are on by reinforcing the culture, listening to associates and encouraging innovation. All indicators are pointing up.
