I worked at Reich & Tang Asset Management

    Pros

RNT is a great place to gain industry knowledge, however, there is no room for advancement. The company is also very top heavy, too many officers for amount of employees.

    Cons

    Most positions are underpaid.
Large discrepancy between upper management and all other employees at RNT.
No room for growth or advancement.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate with employees on company happenings.

I worked at Reich & Tang Asset Management

    Pros

Regular hours and pay, decent benefits, great location, nice people in general

    Cons

No room for growth, gets political if you don't watch your back, management great at managing up but not down. Good place to start but you're better off looking for opportunities elsewhere.

    Doesn't Recommend

I worked at Reich & Tang Asset Management

    Pros

Excellent benefits (401k matching and employer contributions), tuition reimbursement. Overall, the people were great. In my department if you did your job, you were treated well.

    Cons

Almost zero room for advancement or professional growth. Promotions seemingly happen only if there is a vacancy or else you are essentially stuck in your position.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Offer some guidance for lower level people on what they should be doing in order to have any chance of furthering their careers.
