    Hard work but good money

    Truck Driver (Former Employee)
    Jacksonville, FL

ProsThe management was good and seemed to really be concerned with my welfare. I had a decent amount of time off.

ConsThe loads were loaded terrible. Every now and then I would get a load that was decent, but for the most part I had to fight to get product out of the trailer.

Advice to Senior ManagementHave loaders ride with drivers so they can see what it's like to unload a bad load.

    A company on the rise!

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsReinhart is a company that is growing very quickly. There is a lot of chance for personal growth and advancement if you have the skills and desire to take advantage of the opportunities. It's a demanding industry - but very rewarding.

ConsAs with any company that is growing as fast as Reinhart - there are always bumps in the road. There is sometimes a "learn as we go" attitude - and that sometimes can be frustrating.

Advice to Senior ManagementI guess the work-life balance could be a little better - like I said - it's a demanding job that requires a lot of work.

    lies, trickery and deceit!!!

    Delivery Driver (Former Employee)
    Rogers, MN

Prosyou can make a good pay check, but they have no regard for the drivers.

Consthe trucks were constantly mis-loaded, you had to dig and search all the time for product.
you had to search to get a two wheeler in the morning, and sometimes had to wait an hour to get 1.
the supervisors and managers in transportation were a joke, the talked down to you and belittled you if you had a long day. they had no employee relation savvy, or skills at ALL. a bunch of ex-drivers with a honcho attitude. a driver was injured or quit every other week. they advertised a hiring bonus and then said that they didn't offer it when the time came for them to start paying it.

    Sales Consultant (Current Employee)
    Chicago, IL

ProsIf they ever get their act together they might actually be successful, but the reputation on the street is near unrecoverable.

ConsWe went through 3 Presidents, 4 Director of Sales, 3 Human Resource Directors, 2 Purchasing Managers,3 Region Managers, and 5 Warehouse Managers in 5 YEARS!!! Yet the Sales staff was the blame for poor performance. Fill rates were horrendous, and trucks are always late with damaged product. Impossible to do a good job with the hand we were dealt. They lost all of their top sales people to the competition.

Advice to Senior ManagementHire management from the Chicago area. All leadership is from another state. They don't know or understand the nature of the Chicago market and don't react, purchase, or deliver with any sense of urgency. The sales staff is constantly running for recoveries and apologizing. Tough and toxic work environment.
