Pros
People are never fired for they got it wrong. Always given opportunity to experimentation an improving performance beyond what has been designed. You are given an opportunity to deal or handle really big on your own. Their speaks the trust of the organization in its employees. Technology is world n scales is truly big.
Cons
The organization is unable to create leadership at middle management levels as it enters the world in recession or control mode. People are not allowed to lead teams even after 15 years of versatile experience, they still remain highly qualified 'workers' although designated as GMs or Avp s.
Advice to Senior Management
Have more trust in your own middle management levels of people that can lead teams and propel organization truly by taking on challenges and letgo your own team of oldies sitting at the top position like till their graves.
