  1. No quality work, growth is really depressing and above all value-for-employee is ZERO.

I have been working at Reliance Industries (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    1. Initial package is decent.
    2. Global exposure at some stages (but rarely)
    3. Even bosses, leads, HODs etc are also equally frustrated with this company so they would not stop you from leaving as they know the company's condition. So it's a pros for those who want to leave the company.
    4. Working hours are fixed. Which is good and bad both. Our job should be task/project specific rather than time specific.

    Cons

    1. You will hardly get quality work.
    2. Growth (in terms of promotion, knowledge, value and also monetarily) will be way too pathetic. You would cursing yourself as to why you even applied for this company (Reliance).
    3. Value of the employees, freedom, power, responsibility shared with them.. All tooo pathetic. I always felt as if I am a prisoner and not an employee. HR dept will make you feel like that. The biggest problem is with HR I guess. No respect, no value to even senior employees. This discourages new joinees to leave the company as soon as they get even a slightly better opportunity (in some cases employee compromises with their package and anyway leave this pathetic company).
    4. No added benefit to any employee. Employees are treated as liability rather than asset and this adds to their frustration.
    5. No power or value to even those employees who are at senior positions. Seems like everything is HR or TOP Management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    1. Please change your working policy as far as HR dept is considered.
    2. Give value to your employees for god sake.
    3. Give them freedom and then see the result. Believe me, their efficiency would amplify more than you can even think.
    4. Give them proper appraisals (monetary growth is tooo bad in your company) and promotions. Stagnation leads to frustration.
