If seniority is the criteria for performance appraisal then give work as per junior only.

    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee
    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

    Pros

Starting Salary is good but growth is as per seniority.
They give chance to young engineers in new coming projects

    Cons

Bad management in terms of recognizing good hard working employees

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I am working in plant commissioning since last 1.5years, my boss is fully impressed with my work also and he keeps on adding responsibilities also. I am having just 2years experience but i feel i am at good position to take all responsibilities and performing well also. But at the end of year while giving appraisal my boss tells to me age wise 3group were made it seems, for <2years=G, <2-5>= VG and top most = Excl,
My only one question to management is, if you give grade as per age then give work as per age only and expect as per age only, don't expect if i or someone else is young, enthusiastic then he will deliver best.

I am demotivated completely at end of year.

    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

    Pros

    1. World's best technology.
2.One year training Program where you can learn a lot.
    3. Nice township.

    Cons

    1. No transparency in job profile change or promotion.
2.No equality. For the same post of GET and same profile, there are two salary categories. IITians and Non IITians. IITians are paid 6.5 lakhs + 50k bonus while Non- IITians are paid 5.5 lakhs with no bonus. Non- IITins include toppers from top NITs.
    3. Technical services are only for IITians even if better people are there from other colleges.
4.Very less facilities in office. You will even have to pay ₹ 4 per tea and that also you can't drink.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    1. Try to find out the reason, why attrition rate is so high. Don't just recruit more in order to fill the position.
    2. Try to be more transparent.
