ProsESOP... Adds up very quickly on top of your 401K. Great Medical, Fair Salary, Very Fair commisions. Very low employee turnover. Corporate Management one of the best. They understand the business. They understand how to make money. Business model works and it shows every earning report every quarter. Every Reliance business center is held accountable to earnings...

ConsVery litte con's. Doing business in California is extremely difficult due to the Democratic knuckleheads ruining this state.... Manufacturing is dying in California.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep doing what you are doing.

Former Employee – worked at Reliance Steel

ProsCo-workers are usually pretty nice. Management seems to care about the employees. Like many other small companies people are generally pretty friendly.

ConsNot a really hard driven culture. People are pretty relaxed and happy with there they are, so there's not a lot of push to succeed.

Advice to Senior ManagementI think it's a good place to work for, especially in the specific industry they operate in. No real problems.

Former Employee – worked at Reliance Steel

ProsThey are experiencing growth, they have been fortunate enough to purchase other companies and expand which is great given this economy.

ConsPeople from here are crazy. A lot of backstabbing and passive aggressive behavior. You always have to be on your toes and be ready to stand your ground and fight. It's very draining and should not be.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep buying other companies and growing. But seriously, there are some hostile working environments within your organization and some people just need to chill.
