I worked at Remedy Intelligent Staffing part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Easy to get in. Pays better than a lot of warehouse jobs. Flexible scheduling. No real commitment to job.

    Cons

Call every week for hours. Not guarantee to have available hours. Sometimes difficult to contact employer. You can be easily replaced.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pick up the phone more often if possible, although there are probably so many employees.

    Pros

They start you off at $13.00 per hour at Mutual of Omaha assignment with paid training

    Cons

You have to sell on every phone call and the rules are every strict, they told me one thing and penalize for it. And don't use there computers for nothing personal although they will tell you is OK on breaks DON'T BELIEVE IT! !

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Its only fair that you advise employees not to use your computers for nothing personal. I was under the impression it was ok if we was on breaks as long as it was not inappropriate.

    Pros

They are easy to talk to, they don't bother you, they pay every week, it's easy work.

    Cons

The pay is very low, there are no benefits or holidays, I was a temp for over 9 months and nobody seemed to think that was odd.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

How about paid federal holidays? It's not like my rate was high.

    Pros

In my opinion the best reason to work for Remedy is the opportunities.

    Cons

    Salary is not that great

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Salary needs to be higher because the staff works really hard and the are overwhelmed with work majority of the time.

    Pros

Short check when needed. An avenue to build your resume. Get to work at different companies. Direct deposit.

    Cons

Client corporations hard on temp employees. You will watch people with no experience at the job get hired off the street before you. Its discouraging. Hard to get assignment that pay what you need. Will be doing the same job as the regular employees for less pay. They don't protect you from client company false accusations and abuse. You get fired from assignment that's it. You will get another assignment though. One that pays less.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn who your best associates are. Protect them. Protecting them will earn you money. Good associate are hard to come by. You have many good associate, yet you have many I and other did not like working with. They mess it up for all. Your clients need to be concern that they may lose your services mistreating, overworking, or firing your associates just because they believe they are so easy to replace. You provide an essential service for them. If it was so easy for them to find the employees they need, or replace the ones they have. They would not need Remedy or their services.

    Pros

There were no pros or benefits to working for Remedy.

    Cons

Being berated on a daily basis
    Overworked, under paid
    No work - life balance
Expected to work 20 hours of overtime without pay or so much a thank you
Owners hiring upper level staff who are not qualified, cause drama, and don’t set a positive example

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop walking all over your staff, treat your employees with fairness, stop demanding your employees work OT without pay. I personally worked 40 – 65 hours a week without a single thank you from the owners. Walking out was the best thing I ever did!!
