    I worked at RenaissanceRe

    Pros

RenaissanceRe is like working as part of a family environment. Everyone is respectful of each other and there's a work hard/play hard mentality.

    Cons

It is extremely competitive within the company. There is always a feeling of cover yourself type mentality which is frustration and counter-productive.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There should be more emphasis on working together as a team and less emphasis on pointing fingers at other people. In order to better the culture think about the pendulum being swung to far to the right towards procedure and less around getting things done.
