    Pros

All about technology - the product is king

    Cons

Japanese bureaucracy can be stifling. Ignore it!

    Advice to Management

Connect products with customers! You do it in Japan, you can do it in the rest of the world.

    Pros

Interesting technology Global company that is relatively stable Mid-level management/workers work like crazy

    Cons

All decisions made in Japan (very incompetent) Fewer and fewer workers asked to do more and more work Company has no strategy for success Glass ceiling for workers who are not native Japanese

    Advice to Management

Wake up and make changes quickly at every level. It may already be too late for recovery. You may not go bankrupt, but the alternative is a foundering disaster.

    Cons

Large size organization is slow to make decisions. Most decisions are made in Japan so it is difficult to push new ideas

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Good Compensation and Retirement Package. Can immediately make a mark, most people working there are below average.

    Cons

Upper Management is very dirty and can stoop to any level. As typical of any firm that is not publicly traded here in the USA, your performance, talent and skills count less compared to how well you can play in the office politics.

    Advice to Management

Try to lead by example. Treat employees with respect, integrity and allow them to express their opinions freely. Change the overall incentives and work culture so that people actually work and not get away with doing the bare minimum

    Pros

If you able to handle people inside, then you able to gain good interpersonal skills.

Please solve the problem instead of doing prevention.
