    Pros

My God, where to begin! You'll be surrounded by people who genuinely want you to succeed. After all, your success is their success. Great benefits package, which includes 15 OPT days, excluding the company holidays, comprehensive health benefits, and a good salary to boost. The learning curve is rewarding, and the executive team is top notch in their field.

    Cons

The company is fairly new, so it still has a start-up feel to it, which is reflected in the salary.

I have been working at Renewal By Andersen full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Good pay, good people, good product.
Make the best windows and have the best service and warranty - may not sound like a big deal but it is.
Office is run like a family business but you have the backing of the biggest name in windows.
Growing so fast if you're committed you will succeed.
Was promoted within 9 months of starting here.
Revenue in my market has doubled year over year for 2 years running with no sign of slowing down.

    Cons

You definitely work hard and sometimes the hours are long.
They make the best windows and there is definitely pressure on you to be the best at what you do.
Benefit programs are not well developed because company has grown so fast.

*** It's important to note that these are franchised businesses and the though the owner and leadership team in my market is top notch I cannot speak for any of the many other RBA enterprises ***

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing what you're doing, focus on promoting from within.

I worked at Renewal By Andersen full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

None. Mgmnt curses excessively. HR says they will pay you, but when you sign the contract it is way lower.

    Cons

    No training
    Commission and hourly based
    Work six days a week
    Very, very aggressive leaders
Managment needs training, and they are never around at the trade shows. however, there always clocked in and getting paid to be there when they are not there at all.
be aware of who you think are writing these great comments. this is a misleading company. I had to go to corporate in taxes to get my paycheck mail to me.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Train your employees instead of threatening to fire them as there is no job security whatsoever. if the event specialists are not thrown into trade shows without adequate training, how would you expect them to know the product and push leads? also, both people have to be on a deed of the house. or there is no connection whatsoever and the base pay is very minimum. I did not even get paid for the time that I worked there. my advice to the Oklahoma City Department, stop throwing them in with the wolves.

    Pros

Competitive pay, benefits are available. Owners are nice when they're around.

    Cons

Horrible managers, they really make you feel like scum. The owners handed over the company and with that gave up the family oriented values. New managers like to really use you up until you're burnt out.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Get new management.

    Cons

Horrible work environment. Racist bigots, immoral sales tactics, pressure to lie cheat and steal from the customer.

I worked at Renewal By Andersen

    Pros

The initial environment creates a pro sales driven environment with Good Pay.

    Cons

Let me be clear - The CONS of the affiliate in Austin, Texas is not indicative of Renewal by Andersen nationwide. So- concerning RBA of Austin, If you want to work in any position that is associated with this affiliate and want to work in a toxic environment built on fear - This is your place! I have stayed in contact with people over the years that have worked here either as a contractor or full time employee and nothing has changed. Please do yourself a favor and make a decision about what makes you happy - If you want to make decent money and love the stress and fear of your job always being on the line and that you will never have a voice to help things be better - RBA of Austin is the place for you. What RBA of Austin taught me was how important the work environment really is. You can make money anywhere - but you should always work in a place that people treat you with respect.

I worked at Renewal By Andersen full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Top pay, Great product-best in the industry, Great career opportunities as the company is in 100 markets with little competition.

    Cons

Very high performance expectations. Make sure you negotiate the proper bonus structure or else you could get low balled big time. Very high workload as you may find yourself with multiple jobs with the same pay. In the end not all affiliates are run the same so find out as much about the owner of the market your applying for and how previous employees feel about them to get a feel for how it will be to work there.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Develop an employee retention program or development and follow through. Share the numbers like a leaderboard to increase friendly competitions and performance.
