    Pros

It has been great, but because of internal changes, things are starting to turn. Great place to start out in the industry, to learn a lot and get your feet wet.

    Cons

Upper management lacks vision and leadership.

    Pros

The people who work at Reprise are capable and intelligent. It's a great environment to learn about search and familiarize yourself with strategy.

    Cons

Some account teams are structured much better than others. Your overall satisfaction relies heavily on if you are working on an account that has strong management. Some teams work very well together while others are lacking qualified individuals.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Create a standardized test to give potential hires and have quarterly employee reviews.

I worked at Reprise Media full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Lots of structure. It is structure, structure everywhere, assuming you are working in the search practice. Great paid time off, summer PTO, and holidays. Lots of opportunities for training, learning new things, and being a mentor to others.

    Cons

Low company morale, lots of new senior management that has no idea what its employees really want but want to infuse fake culture into what Reprise used to be. A poor hiring process that results in the recruiting team having no idea how to properly and efficiently find and reach out to qualified candidates with known job expectations and compensation packages, as well as hiring employees who lack basic qualifications for employment (e.g. if you hire an account director for search, we would hope that this person has a search background, or in the very least, a basic knowledge of how search engine marketing works). The CEO is also very disconnected from the company, as well, as probably 70% of us have no idea what he does and where is is half the time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get more connected with what your actual staff do and what they want, and stop going to all these happy hours and offsites that waste MAP's money. Invest in your employees and stop being so cheap at the lower levels with compensation.

I have been working at Reprise Media

    Pros

The two founders have developed a wonderful culture at this firm. The atmosphere is casual but professional. People are treated with dignity and respect. Management is very employee friendly. There is a great work/life balance. The management team is very smart, has high expectations and delivers quality work for its clients.

If you are very detail oriented you will do well in this firm.

    Cons

There are very few downsides to working here.

There is no employer match on 401k contributions and there is no tuition assistance.

There is however, lots of training opportunities, face-to-face and on-line.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing what you are doing. It works well!
