I have been working at Republic Airways full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The crews are fun loving and by and large great to work with. The aircraft are mostly new and are a joy to fly

    Cons

No trust in management. Under staffing is chronic and leeds to poor quality of life for flight crews. The company will keep loosing pilots util the 12 year old contract is upgraded.

    Advice to Management

Sign a contract with your key frontline employees. Pay and quality of life improvements are the key to employee retention.

I worked at Republic Airways full-time

    Pros

flight benefits are great, nice schedule if you don't mind working 12 hr days, coworkers are the coolest, very laid back atmosphere.

    Cons

It's a dead in job, no where to move within the company. Management is very unprofessional. Communication between different departments is terrible.

    Advice to Management

    Be more professional

I have been working at Republic Airways full-time

    Pros

Travel Benefits are pretty good and heath benefits too. E-Jets are a nice regional plane to work on. 4 person crew so less personalities to deal with.

    Cons

Worse pay in the industry. Shuttle side management is not the greatest. They are always out to fire you. 11 months out of the year flight attendants suck (according to management ) and 1 month a year (this is new) they celebrate us. The Union is a snake in the grass. They rigged the TA voting to get the horrible flight attendant contract passed. Pilots been with out a contract since 2007.

    Advice to Management

Get a good pilot contract and fast. Treat your employees with dignity and respect.

    Pros

Short work weeks (12 hour workdays), comfortable work environment (between co-workers at least)

    Cons

Lower level salaried positions get less than 3% annual raises, No accountability for people with poor work ethics, offers overtime pay to hourly employees that are not productive (part of wasteful spending), and the company just makes you feel like you are only here for a paycheck.....

    Advice to Management

OPEN YOUR EYES......and fight for your good, honest, hard working employees!!!! They are the ones who help make the company what it is so stop overlooking them!!!!!

    Pros

Fun, diverse work environment. No two days are alike. Depending on where you are based, great flight benefits.

    Cons

Lack of respect from management. Different standards exist for different work groups. Some of the pilots are not professional and not helpful.

    Advice to Management

Better communication and respect your employees
