    Pros

Good Coworkers, Lower Management cares about their individual employees, opportunities to learn and gain industry experience, flight benefits, willingness of others to help and teach, company does have events from time to time

    Cons

Culture is lacking although improvements are in work currently, pay is low, 401k matching isn't that great, not enough vacation time, poor communication from upper management

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate better, reevaluate employee compensation and benefits to keep good employees

I have been working at Republic Airways full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

There are none. I can not think of one thing that republic does well or a positive result for their hard working employees. Trust me, after one month here I was looking to leave to a new opportunity that was not a lateral move.

    Cons

Everyday I'm employed here, the working conditions deteriorate. The leadership guides the company with no regard for their employees. You are a number and are expected to move anywhere at anytime with no regard for your family. Additionally, you are treated as a school child and can not be trusted to do that right thing. Your management will micromanage and second guess every decision you make. Safety comes second to profit and you can be terminated for following safety protocol if it will result in a flight cancellation.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The current leadership should be removed and replaced with leaders not "bosses" Leaders can lead, and empower their employees to work together and accomplish goals. This current team only care to line their pockets and not share any othe their record profits with their employees.

    Pros

Great pilot group and flight attendant group.

    Cons

Too many to list. A few examples are: poor schedules, bad middle management, greedy upper management, and a culture that has become toxic.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Bargain with the pilot group in good faith. We are your greatest asset and biggest liability.

    Pros

GREAT travel benefits and there are some really nice people to work with at headquarters.

    Cons

The company underpays drastically. Also Clocking in/out policies and other policies are not effective. Also, not very much personal time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More flextime and/or working from home. Increase Pay and time off.

I worked at Republic Airways full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Flight Benefits when you are able to actually get on the plane... Always Stand-by ....

    Cons

When I worked there I was the only Female Mechanic.... Lots of Harassment going on, favoritism by management & supervisors etc.... The CEO does not care about employees, especially if you are female considering he never really looked in to my complaints and allowed it to happen.... Went to school to do what I loved and ended up being a nightmare. The people that have moved up to supervision roles were POOR POOR choices. They should never be in that role when they have no clue how to treat people with respect .... The whole company as a whole I thought was an absolute JOKE.....

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

To the CEO - you should care a little more about what's going on down in that hanger (Indianapolis)... Supervisors are horrible and disrespect people all the time accept their "FRIENDS" / Favorites...... It's NOT right.. I should have sued you when I had the chance for the harassment.

    Pros

Getting a line fairly quickly depending on the base your working at.

    Cons

Low pay, unprofessional management, manipulation by management, crew scheduling no helpful to airline crew, and growth is out of the question.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give flight attendants the respect they deserve, be supportive and helpful instead of manipulative and disrespectful. Let flight attendants have a chance to make a career out of the job. Raise the low pay for all those long hours required to work.

I worked at Republic Airways full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Working in the Indy HQ was amazing! Great people and environment. It's a great combination of laid back and fun. The flight benefits are second to none. It's such a privilege! I can't go on enough about it... Employees have traveled to every continent and can leave town every weekend! It's standby, so it's not perfect.... But when seats are open, the opportunities are endless. The annual holiday party is really fancy and fun! HQ is adding more employee events all the time!

    Cons

Pilot drama and low pay. If you take advantage of the flight benefits, it makes the pay seem better.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better pay wouldn't hurt... And increase PTO!
