    Cons

Management lacks leadership and direction. Things are lost in translation as instructions and directions trickle down.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Pay was pretty good but that was the only good part of this job.

    Cons

The management is the worst I have ever worked for. The company does not care about employees at all.

    Advice to Management

The management needs to take an ethics class because the things being done there are so wrong. Employees are not taken into consideration when decisions are made.

    Pros

great co-workers who believe in a mission, positive youth development, instructional flexibility to a certain degree, a really great attitude on the surface from management

    Cons

the pay is bare minimum and with their refusal to give raises, even cost of living raises, management is asking for high turnover rates

    Advice to Management

you want people to buy into your mission and stay longer than a year? you have to give people pay raises to do that. Otherwise, you're going to continue to have the high turnover rate. Don't kid yourself it's because of high burnout rate among teachers and caregivers.

None that I can think of.

    Cons

ResCare is involved in many programs, but is spinning too many plates at once and they are starting to fall.

    Negative Outlook

    Pros

The few caring and genuine people who are there for not only participants, their co-workers are what make ResCare stay in business.

    Cons

Supervisors all do things differently, tell employees to do things differently (even if it is against one policy or another), there is no organization, things tend to slide until it gets around the time to re-new the contract with the State, then Supervisor's suddenly "care". There is no training, and most of the time it is easier for a Supervisor to do work rather than teach the team member.

    Advice to Management

Get organized and on the same page. Just because someone has a different outlook on something, you do not have to fill threatened, not everyone there is there to line their pockets with bonus money. Some people actually care about the well being of others and the company they work for.

    Pros

Decent pay. Good coworkers. Professional, environment. Office environment. Able to look for work while at work since that is your job.

    Cons

Incompetent management that does not know thier jobs or those they, supervise. Very very very, can not stress this enough, very high turn, over rate.

    Advice to Management

Read. How to make, friends and iinfluence. Also, learn the job of those you, supervise. Use better judgement when deciding staff strengths and weakness. Needs more diverse management besides just white woman.,
