    I have been working at Residential Options part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Very friendly and helpful staff and management, extremely rewarding working with such cute and unique kiddos, has staff recommendation box and recognizes workers hard work, can provide supervision for BCBA, let you do paid office work is client cancels

    Cons

    Adjustment issues due to quick expansion, mediocre pay, little to no breaks during workday (they are working to improve this though), challenging behaviors with kiddos, scheduling can be tricky

    Advice to Management

    Continue listening to staff recommendations on how to improve daily working conditions. Otherwise, great job!

    You get to help out people with special needs. You get to fix problems. You get to love and care for people.

    Cons

    Some staff don't care. Client families hardly ever care.

    Advice to Management

    Start caring about the clients on a personal level. The more we care the better their time with us will be.

    I have been working at Residential Options part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    This was an extremely difficult company to work for, Most of the staff were very caring and concerned regarding the clients but there were many internal issues that were unresolved and very detrimental to the program and the company.

    Cons

    The management was capricious demanding dishonest financially irresponsible allowed and advocated the physical abuse of staff by clients high turn over of staff

    Advice to Management

    waiting for that state of michigan investigation - 800 of us cannot be wrong
