If You Want to Change Something, Change It Yourself

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

Prosautonomy, no shortage of work, flexible hours, steady supply of caffeine, respect, fairness, openness, camaraderie, competence, fun environment

Many opportunities to gain exposure to many things

    Software Engineer (Current Employee)
    Providence, RI

ProsGreat people who work for the company, some very good managers (personally and skillwise), interesting products and services, good variety of technologies, get to see many aspects of the business.

ConsPay is not always competitive; bonus and raise scheme seems haphazard and is not documented; many staff believe that the CEO is out of touch with the business and has no real appreciation for how it runs from day to day

Advice to Senior ManagementYou should regularly evaluate your employee's salaries in regards to general market conditions; You need to hire more people - not enough resources to get the job done; There needs to be a clear vision that is passed down to the employees.

Retail Decisions- Decent place to work

    Business Development (Former Employee)

ProsSmall company can be a pro for opportunities, willing to pay for the right people, some decent folks remain there.

ConsUltimately owned by the UK, dealing with time difference can be frustrating at times for some. I personally never had an issue.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe only concern would be level of turn over at Retail Decisions in the Sales and sales Management space here.

    Project Manager (Former Employee)

ProsI find it a very interesting industry to work with.

ConsLike all companies today it is resource starved and extremely tight budgets.

Advice to Senior ManagementNeed to input more monies into projects.

Great people, great technology; yet hands tied and unable to make a difference.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsPeople are fantastic and the technologies are impressive. Staff have a real can-do attitude and desire to improve things for customers. The dedication evident in staff members is impressive.

ConsMicromanagement from senior management and unwillingness to bolster resources to acceptable levels. Salaries are not reflective of what's on offer in the market.

Advice to Senior ManagementMicromanaging is not necessary, provide resources where required and establish proper communication from the management team to the company. There are fantastic people working at ReD but under-staffing, ad-hoc bonuses / payrises and nonexistent management communication are major issues.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
