Current Employee – been working at Revention full-time for more than a year
Pros – It's a software company, so the product itself changes all the time because its always on the edge of technology. Really everything in life tends to want to grow, change, and continuously get better. Revention is the kind of workplace in which that mentality is fostered. We strive to do well in our work here because we actually do have a superior product, and that instills a feeling of pride. I have been given so many opportunities to learn and improve upon my skills, as well as assert a great deal of my own influence in positive ways. At the end of the day, I just really enjoy coming to work and interacting with my bosses & co-workers. They are hardworking, intelligent, and fun to be around. Working at Revention has sharpened my skills as a professional while still being in an environment in which the vibe is very down-to-earth. I'm quite happy that I stumbled upon this place!
Cons – As I mentioned before, change is a necessary part of life. If you are the kind of person that likes every day to be consistently the same, some positions in this company may not suit you.

Current Employee – been working at Revention full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Every day brings new challanges which motivates me. Fun work environment with contests, birthday celebrations and pot luck events. Management provides opportunity to make process, company and product recommendations. The products and services Revention provides are top quality. I am proud of the work I do.
Cons – The technology and service industry is challanging and requires a sense of urgency. You have to be ready step up and put your game face on at anytime. Priorities can change quickly and you must be able to adapt. This is why I love the job, but some people may prefer a more consistant day.
Advice to Senior Management – The grass is never greener than here!

Our customer's are the most valuable asset to make Revention POS the best in the industry. We encourage our partners to provide feedback so we can make each customer's business manifest into the best in their industry.

Current Employee – been working at Revention full-time for less than a year
Pros – Since I've been here at Revention, I've continuously had opportunities to find things that I'm good at that I wasn't even aware of. There is huge potential for growth within the company, and no two days are ever the same! It is a fun and vibrant place to work with an awesome energy. Everyone works really hard but they are also always laughing!! It's not only a fun place to work with great people, but I truly believe in the product. I've been a bartender for most of my life and I can definitely appreciate a good Point of Sale.
Cons – Revention can be fast-paced, which I happen to love, but if you prefer a slower, quieter type of environment... it may not be for you.
Advice to Senior Management – Thanks for giving me this great opportunity.

Former Employee – worked at Revention
Pros – I was able to learn many valuable skills. Mid level management was helpful and caring. If you like extensive travel, as I do, the position was great. Nice benefits package.
Cons – Senior management was unpredictable in policies, procedures, and behavior. Comp time was frequently difficult to receive. Salaried, non-exempt employees were frequently required to work beyond 40 hours per week with no compensation. Changes to benefits were enacted without warning.
Advice to Senior Management – Happy employees lead to happy customers. Take care of, and respect the people who work directly with your customers and the company will be successful.

Former Employee – worked at Revention full-time
Pros – This is a good place to work if you're not looking for stability, and if you're open to constant change in the workplace. Also doesn't require degrees for most jobs and pay better than most companies would for people without degrees.
Cons – Very high turnover, Management is very impulsive, and makes decisions very quickly without thinking them through, which leaded to unpredictable behavior.
Customer's weren't treated as if they were valuable to the company. Private company, family owned, so some days it felt like a dysfunctional family.
There was no sense of protection (HR was pretty much non-existent), no standard processes or consistency. Every day was different, even job duties changed on a daily basis.
Advice to Senior Management – Implement more Standard operating procedures, and actually follow them.
CEO - Perhaps appoint a new one who is a little more professional.
