    Pros

    A paycheck. Only a paycheck.

    Cons

    Senior management out to lunch.
    Nursing covers up for staff.

    I have been working at Revera Inc

    Pros

    Most of the Nurses are excellent. There is a very stringent hiring process but the results of late are really poor choices by management. They skimp on supplies to save pennys and waste thousands of dollars on wining and dining their doctors while the residents' supplies and food choices are cut to the bare bone

    Cons

    The staff is treated like dirt. The Executive Directors are evil and don't care about anything but themselves and their own profits. Every year they lay off those who work the hardest and wonder why important care isn't getting done.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Get a clue! When in the caring for people business your best asset are your people! Word of mouth is a strong advertiser for your future success! Unfortunately, you have hurt too many people to go back now!

    Pros

    Very good people in the field that want to do a good job with our elderly.

    Cons

    There is no right with this company everything is wrong with upper management. Nothing is clean and clear cut. People including the regionals do what they want with no repercussions while the little people have to put up with the craziness. Management in CT is not an example setter for what is needed with this group!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    You need to clean house and start with the CT home office! Even HR is involved with the nonsense. Look into all of those people who have resigned- did they or were they forced out by the whims of those in power!

    Canadian owned company that treats US employees as step children. Poor executive staff

    Most of the employees are excellent workers
    Advance in your field

    Horrible upper management
    The clique runs the facility
    Not enough compassionfrom upper management
    Lack of care for the residents

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Open up your eyes!
    Start cleaning out the bad and bring in the people who have compassion and care about residents and staff. You won't make money with facilities that have a BAD reputation because of the ones who run it !

    Lots of bullying by management. Particular ethnic groups favored!

    Excellent team, flex hours, patients are a joy

    Cons

    top level management unaware/uncaring of issues with front line staff that affect profitability. They seem to have an inability to attract appropriate mid-level management. These positions seem to go to"the last man standing"

    Have a meeting with front line staff without mid level management present.

    Pros

    -Great clients, time off when you need it because they have to do what they can to keep staff
    -I have found another position so will be getting away from the lies and chaos of Revera Home Health

    Cons

    -Senior management of Home Health is all about the dollar not about the care of the clients
    -most branch managers are checked out of what is happening in their own office
    -client visits cancelled because there's not enough staff .. clients are at risk
    -management tells you what you want to hear but NEVER follow through on anything
    -complain all you want about pay, schedules, supervisors .. nothing will change
    -hiring staff that have no health background
    -lowest pay of all agencies
    -no respect

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Get rid of the ones you have and bring in some that actually care about the clients and the care they should be getting. Keep in mind .. it could be someone you know that is having a visit cancelled for lack of staffing. Walking a day in a PSW's footsteps should be mandatory for ALL management and supervisors ..after all without PSW's and nurses you would not have a job
