    Pros

RigNet is a great place to work to develop skills and build a career. The work environment is stimulating and focused on serving demanding oil and customers.

    Cons

The fast and demanding pace is not for everyone. Only high performers need to apply. The Company is clearly improving development of employees through formal training programs. RigNet has also rolled out a high-performance culture initiative, with employees developing five core values under which the Company operates.

    Advice to Management

Continue to strengthen the Company's capabilities to position for future growth. RigNet was a startup fifteen years ago, went public in late 2010 and it continues to march toward being a world-class remote communications company.

    Pros

good customer base gives the company better business stability

    Cons

Too many VP and other senior managers running around Houston pretending to be in charge, when all the decisions are made by the CEO anyway. They do not listen to the field staff on service items or operational issues. Instead, they have big strategy meetings all the time but never make any decisions to help the business grow.

    Advice to Management

give people clear direction and let them perform - then reward them with good salary and benefits. Stop running the company like its all US employees, we are part of a global company

    Pros

Somehow still growing. Some great people amid the deadwood. If you want no life then promotion is possible. Good coffee.

    Cons

Failed integrations, focus only on financials and not customers, zero value of employees. Management make all sorts of promises and deliver on next to none.

    Advice to Management

Make decisions not exclusively based on short term financial gain. Invest in people. Make good on your promises. Cut the deadwood.

    Pros

dynamic, stable, big potential, good customer base with strong growth potential in traditional and new markets, flexible work processes,

    Cons

disorganised, top heavy, overly centralised, a lot of unrealised potential, bad information systems,

    Advice to Management

More decentralised global teams with much better information systems and communications will be required to get a united effort and culture to grow beyond the current limitations. Lots of potential to compete against regional players with targeted campaigns.
