    Pros

Decent pay and pretty good hours.Good introduction to the financial tech world.

    Cons

Not much of a challenge. Pretty boring. Repetitive work. Not much growth potential. Not much help available when needed. Management seems in over their head's at times.

    Advice to Management

Be more humble. Hire more effectively for support related positions. Treat people like humans not servers.

    Pros

-okay pay/bonus. -Some exposure to the financial industry. -Snacks -Soho is cool. Good lunch options in chinatown. -Some good coworkers.

    Cons

I would recommend not working here if you want to develop your technology skills. This company is more of an operations company than a technology company (as it's name falsely implies). -Disconnected management. -Monotonous work. -Little to no career development. They won't spend any money on you and will invest little time training you properly. -Many people are either extremely lazy or incompetent. Overall a culture of avoiding work. -Outdated technology and lack of forward thinking in management. -Tendency to throw people at the problem instead of building better workflows and tech. -Management pinches pennies. -No 401k matching. -No real career growth.

    Advice to Management

Start caring about your employees and you will start getting better results and less laziness. Stop treating people as machinery and change the culture so that ideas can be generated from the bottom up.

    Pros

    1) Nice location in Soho 2) Exposure to the industry (depending on what position you are in)

    Cons

    1) Disconnected decision makers: "Marching orders" come from people in London 2) Terrible management: Employees are treated like robots. The company will expect you to do just about anything. On the flip side, compensation is similar to that of less stressful jobs in the field. 3) The company has an identity crisis. Growing pains are very apparent as the company attempts to gain a bigger presence in the industry. There are lots of new hires that have their own opinions of what the company does. 4) No room for career growth. The company would rather hire outsiders for top positions than promote people that deserve it. RIMES is for people who just can't do any better. If you're a college graduate you'll probably benefit from the experience but if you're a seasoned professional you should keep moving along. The glassdoor rating of this place should give you a good idea of what to expect.

    Pros

It's fun working for a small company where everyone can have a significant impact. The office itself has a warm, friendly atmosphere.

    Cons

Since the company is small, there is less room for career growth.

    Pros

    - Growing company, all teams hiring aggressively and 5 new departments created in the past year. So great career prospects and potential for growth within the company. - They organize events from time to time (after work cordials, hiking, secret santa, etc.) which is fun and create a nice team atmosphere. Often colleagues also informally socialize after work, which is nice. - Free treats in the kitchen plus nice chocolates from regular visitors and travellers - Great work/life balance. The client service team gives 1.5 vacation days for every extra day worked, so we quickly get an extra week or two of vacation!

    Cons

    - Company growing very fast and many things are changing quickly too, so it's never comfortable (but can be challenging for ambitious people). - Some processes or internal tools have become outdated and can be a little painful but the management and R&D team welcome all ideas that can help improve these processes. So these areas can be a new project for creative and proactive people.

    Pros

They are located in SoHo and very close to public transportation to all parts of the city and outer boroughs. They provide snacks to offset any later in the day hunger pangs. Some of the management team are pleasant.

    Cons

Do not believe anything management will tell you. Even though, New York is the official headquarters, the "marching orders" comes from London. The heads of departments are located there and they dictate policies and procedures from London. They will blatantly lie to the employees. Additionally, the management will request that you work overtime without compensation or recognition.

    Pros

The Work life Balance is reasonable They provide snacks to keep you entertained when you are bored to death with the work you have. Which is basically all the time.

    Cons

Terrible management that constantly lie and backstab employees. They show little respect and its all about the bottom line No professional development or long term growth No real promotion opportunities. Constantly fighting to get your voice heard. Have to be in close with senior management (ie, work as a slave) to have any possibility of moving up. Wouldn't recommend this place as a place to work at all. Are far better companies in the same sector to work for.

    Advice to Management

Listen, respect and reward your employees who often do a great job with very little guidance or help from senior management.
