I have been working at Rite Aid
Pros – Had a wonderful supervising pharmacist. Most fellow employees were a delight to work with. Schedule was fairly flexible.
Cons – Pay scale was very low for the amount of work and responsibility required. Was required to go through the Rite Aid certification course and test even though I had been nationally certified for 5 years. Upper management had no clue what it was like to work in the store.
Advice to Senior Management – Require district managers to actually work in the pharmacy for 2-3 years before being in a management position.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

I have been working at Rite Aid full-time for more than a year
Pros – At least I am working, and enjoy most of the people I work with.
Cons – Low pay, poor chance for advancement, feel like upper management does not care, high turnover rate, feel expendable, no credit given for going above and beyond job expectations, and poor work life balance.
Advice to Senior Management – It doesn’t matter what you say, they will not listen or even care.
