    Great Company , i am very creative person with a deshire to bring the best hotel ,i would like to be part of the Family Ritz Carlton hotel

    Is a New experiencia for my career and live with the staff is nice ,always providing the best of my experience.

    Pros

    It trusts its employees enough to truly empower them with responsibilities. They do not believe in micromanaging. They understand that if they recruited you, it's because you're good enough that you don't need babysitting. Yet, this does not take away from having a mentor that's always available to teach you or answer your questions, when the need arises. They really care about the growth, both personal and professional of their team, and invest a lot of time and money to properly train everyone.

    Cons

    I do not really have any cons that may be specific to this property or organization. All I can say pertains to the industry in general, and that is that at times the work hours can be a little extensive.

    Pros

    Empowers employees, Professional in the highest sense, Classy, Establishes clear goals and objectives that are communicated from the general manager directly to all employees, pays well.

    Cons

    Hospitality in New Orleans does not sleep, being the best hotel in the world means you have to be your best at 2 a.m. its simply the nature of the industry though.

    Advice to Management

    You are the best, keep proving it every day.

    Pros

    Ik heb een half jaar als Rooms-Division trainee gewerkt in Ierland. Deze hotel keten staat bekend om zijn customer service en zij trainen, buiten hun eigen mensen, ook mensen van grote corporates hierin en wat het 'geheim' van The Ritz Carlton Experience is.

    Cons

    Ontzettend grote organisatie welke vanuit the States gestuurd wordt. Om wereldwijd iedereen de neuzen dezelfde kant op te houden, zijn de regels vrij strikt. Dit komt het 'menselijke' soms niet ten goede komt.

    Advice to Management

    Door blijven gaan met trainen! Het verschil zit hem in de mensen.

    Pros

    Just to have the Ritz-Carlton Hotel on your resume is amazing! The level of service and how much you get to learn in the customer service and hospitality field is awesome. The culture of the company is one of a kind. You feel like you're apart of the family. I would recommend anyone to work here. You always have the opportunity to work in different departments to learn as much as possible. Management always gives the opportunity to grow.

    Cons

    Depending on management some play favorites but it is not everyone! Nothing else. Sometimes you work more hours because of business.

    Advice to Management

    Stick by the Credo and just continue what you are doing!

    Good benefits and hotel discounts

    good hours when busy

    no hours when hotel is slow
    not all hotels are able to receive discount

    Long hours short of stqff on busy days overstaffed on slow days.
