This was the most hectic and boring job I've ever loved

Players Club Associate (Former Employee)
Norman, OK

I worked at Riverwind Casino part-time for less than a year

ProsFellow co-workers were great and the chance to meet people from all over was exciting. I was classified as part-time but I normally worked 40 hours per week. On Friday nights, I came in to work early to help with the "Guys Night" rush. It was hectic until about 9 or so but it tapered off about 3 AM. Early mornings were the hardest to try to stay awake. I would recommend everyone try working at a casino at least once. It was a great experience.

ConsPay was not the greatest and 3rd shift was difficult to get used to. I haven't worked at too many places but the gossip seemed a little excessive to me, maybe it was just my department.

Advice to Senior ManagementLook for untapped talent in all areas. I would have remained an employee but I received an offer for a higher paying job closer to home.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Wonderful place to work

Valet- First Shift (Current Employee)
Norman, OK

I have been working at Riverwind Casino

ProsRiverwind Casino, owned by the Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma, is a wonderful place to work with amazing benefits. I love my employer.

ConsSmoke, as it is a casino. You must be able to walk a distance to the actual employee entrance, because you must park in the parking lot west of the casino. Nothing horrible.

Advice to Senior ManagementI don't have too many complaints about Riverwind Casino, but I do wish their uniforms weren't so disgusting. They are hideous.

Riverwind Casino

Electronic Games Associate (Former Employee)

I worked at Riverwind Casino

ProsDecent pay for a job requiring no education. If you like a lot of people then this is a good place to work.

ConsLots of male management always hitting on workers. If you don't like an environment where there are lots of people coming in and out then this is not a good place.

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't be so lazy. Upper management should get a tighter hold on lower management or upper management needs to be replaced.
