I worked at Rivoli Group full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Good for beginners, was only good as starting salary compared to few other retailers not all... there are much more better ones.

    Cons

Every thing is bad,Crappy management, hire and fire situations, no growth, no work culture and worst thing being, they have no respect for people whatsoever. anybody can be thrown out at any time.Lacks Standard in Structured Policies and Procedures.Difficult to move to next level both in terms of position and salary unless you have connection in management.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

No advice is useful at this place, as its lead by a wannabe man... who has filled up all his village people in the company and only believes in dictatorship without making any useful decisions. Anyway the company is sinking day by day.

    I worked at Rivoli Group

    Pros

As a first job in dubai for an experience it's good.
No need any education, should know buttering and communication skills.

    Cons

Unprofessional people sitting in the office from a same place of india all are relatives they have their own favorite staff of their cities they get good increment, good salary and promotion every year. Very educated people most off them had never being to school, all of them speak one odd language instead of English and they will punish you even it's not your mistake like weekly off cancel, extra shifts etc.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to hire people who are educated and speaks English well. Avoid taking people from slums of Mumbai. And behave like a humans in front of your staff not like a monkey. Don't make your staff so frustrated that he or she should slap you on the floor.

    Pros

Better salary compared to some others in Retail

    Cons

harassment at work....no morale, they sack employees for silliest of reasons....no guarantee that they would have the job next day. A place to work only if you are desperate and have no other offers....People, please do not work for this company. They will take the best years of someones career and just dump without a reason. There are so many cases.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Its a mom and pop company. Not organized atall.... fake and wannabe world retailer...

Former Employee - Sales Associate in Dubai (United Arab Emirates)

I worked at Rivoli Group full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

best reason is in Rivoli you don't have to waste your money to learn or get trained or gain product knowledge a person once enters Rivoli and then for some reason he leaves Rivoli i can tell you that person is the best Sales Executive

    Cons

In Rivoli if you work as a Sales Associate you don't have the right to fight for your rights because the Management only listens to the Showroom in-charge you make mistake or no mistake

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

its said that Rivoli has an open door policy you dont like the job leave it but i request the management to know why has that person dint like the job what is the reason and try to solve that problem rather then just sacking the old employees

I worked at Rivoli Group full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

    1. Gave me an opportunity to work with world class luxury brands.
2, Provided me good growth over a period of time.

    Cons

    1. Freedom of decision marking does not exist. A Manager is supposed to be making decisions and delivering top line / bottom line's. Out here managers are merely decision followers, while GM's take more or less most of the decisions.
    2. Attitude of the CEO is quite UNPROFESSIONAL. He fires senior staff's quite easily without thinking that they have given a few years of their lives to the company. Even for wierd reasons, such as "hair style is not good" :) [Not Joking, Its quite true]...

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    1. CEO to spend quality time on BD rather than signing passport release forms.
    2. GGM's & GM's to provide honest feedback to the senior mgmt rather than always saying "Yes Sir" / "You are correct sir"...
