    Pros

They seem to value employees, and provide some decent avenues for career development.

    Cons

German side of company is too focused on applying their singular approach to global operations. Not enough flexibility to adequately serve all aspects of client projects within certain markets.

    Advice to Management

Stick to what works best based on a case-by-case basis, and make an actual effort to understand what that actually means for different offices. Too much focus is being placed on cookie-cutter business functions that have absolutely nothing to do with fulfilling services requested by clients.

    Pros

Good company and benefits, fair compensation. Deep pockets, privately held.

    Cons

Never able to make money and fell short of goals. Poor vision and leadership.

    Advice to Management

Promote American leadership and send the Germans home.

    Pros

Its a great place to learn, as you are rapidly given a lot of responsibility. The company seems very invested in its employees and strongly encourages their development.

    Cons

As with all big companies, some things take a little too long to get done.

    Pros

High starting salary for warehouse during year of 2000.Benefits were almost immediate, people were some of the nicest that I ever worked with.It was close to home, and the conditions were immaculately clean. In the early days, there was much overtime too.The manager who hired me was the best example of what a manager should be.

    Cons

The raises were extremely low, over time.Overtime hours fell off.Upper management decided it would be more economical for us to be in a much smaller space.
Bosch Worldwide is an excellent company, but I think that due to this building being in New Jersey, with the taxes being so high, and with the state's general unfriendliness towards business, I can only wonder how long they will remain in South Plainfield. Finally, I am still nursing wounds from being laid off without any foreknowledge.I cannot face the real possibilty of starting another warehouse job in 2015 at $8 or $9 an hour.I topped out at slightly above $15 an hour and was still falling behind on bills.

    Advice to Management

It would probably be wiser to lay off someone who makes a higher pay scale that I was making (I was the lowest paid in the building)..ProVantage program makes no sense.......it takes profits away from the company.Huge volume of customers who basically get tools fixed for free, and are the biggest complainers.Physical Inventories should be brought back into common practice.Last one that took place was in 2007.Should find a way to better get a better accuracy on what is in stock.Scraps should be sent to Walnut Ridge at least twice a month.
