    Pros

The benefits are good and the management really wants to take care of the employees. They have lots of social activities and the working hours are flexible.

    Cons

The management doesn't want to spent money and keeps the outdated hardware / software. The employees has to work long hours to finish the tasks

    Advice to Management

Bring some youngsters to the management team so that they can start using some new technologies.

    Pros

Great to go to different clients and environments to learn different skills and experience different corporate cultures

    Cons

Constantly in the thick of it as far as stressful situations.
Dependent on agents finding clients for you to go and work with.

    Pros

I enjoy the very friendly people and their willingness to get you out there to be seen. They also have many tests to help you learn about other programs that you are not used to using.

    Cons

It is mostly temporary work with minimal opportunities for full time jobs.

  8. Helpful (3)

Don't rely on them to find you a job you still have to do your own searching

    Pros

If you need money while you're job searching you can earn money taking temporary assignments
    You get paid every week
Depending on assignment can get competitive rates
    Some assignments are long-term

    Cons

Placement does not depend on the agency, they submit you to the client and it's up to the client to decide if they want you (yes even for a temporary assignment)
    Work is often very slow
It's depressing to keep emailing (they prefer that you email instead of call) your recruiter.. sometimes they dont' respond

    Advice to Management

It's deplorable the way recruiters don't get back to candidates. If there is no work, at least have the decency to respond back. When you have candidates who have served you well on prior assignments, it's a lack of professional courtesy to not return calls or emails. A good recruiter keeps in touch with his/her stable of candidates.

    Pros

Lots of growth opportunities, treat their employees very well! Lots of training and mentoring that is done as well. The company is constantly evolving in regards to technology. Great bonus potential! Outstanding benefits.

    Cons

There tends to be a lot of turnover in the Staffing industry as a whole, but if the management is strong, there is very little here.

    Pros

good system for payroll, quality recruiters, high level of professionalism, good reputation in the business community

    Cons

lack of coaching or career development advice, mind of some recruiters is plug and play, benefits are slim

    Advice to Management

check in more often with your consultants, need to feel more part of a team, otherwise little loyalty develops. You already charge a hefty premium so make it worth it for the consultant, otherwise why should a capable consultant work for an agency that takes a retail markup on the consultant's provided services?
