Roberto's Very Mexican Food Reviews

Pros

Working with the President and Vice President was a pleasure. They take pride in their restaurants, employees and community. They stay true to their father's concept of "Fresh, authentic, quality ingredients, simple food at modest prices and satisfying portions" The President and son of Roberto is in his stores daily making sure that the food is prepared fresh three times a day. Every morning employees arrive early to make new fresh beans and rice. They won't open early because he refuses to use the same beans and rice from the last evening. His wife and partner takes the same dedication to paying the bills and employees on time everytime without fail. The food is great, the owners are wonderful and because of this they are growing.

Cons

Communication between employees, managers and upper management needs improvement. You have to be able to speak Spanish to work there. Many things were taken for granted.

Advice to Senior Management

Don't assume that your staff knows things, always double check. The website states that you offer a $5.00 combo but not all the stores honor it.
