    Pros

Rocky has some great programs encouraging and aiding students in work study programs. This helps students get real world experience during their educational career.

    Cons

Work study is often included and expected as part of a students' financial aid package, which can deflate their available aid from other sources.

    Pros

Great learning experience, rewarding, fun, If you want to become a professional pilot, flight instruction is one of the best ways to get there. You learn tons and build hours while doing it.

    Cons

Low pay, frustrating when students don't show initiative in their advancement, not getting paid for time working but only for ground or flight time,

    Advice to Management

Put syllabus in a computer based form to make things more organized, make sure standardization is getting to everyone and that employees and students are actually making it an integral part of their flight. Offer a monthly salary so that Flight Instructors can have a certain amount, then lower the hourly rate if you have to. $1000/month plus $5/hr would be fair and allow for a budget even if the weather is bad all month.
