    Pros

    Very good benefits if you’re full time. Opportunity to move around vertically or laterally. Annual pay increases if bonus criteria is met. Opportunity to meet lots of people. 50% off all Rogers services including Jays tix

    Cons

    Policy`s and procedures change almost a daily basis. If you don`t like to be monitored constantly this job is not for you. Majority of your day is spent dealing with upset customers. Pay is not worth the headache you will surely start getting once your a few months in. Everyone who is on the phones can`t stand the job.

    Pros

    OK company to work for. Pace is normal, not much overtime. Depending on projects, some are interesting, some not much so. Chance to go for different training.

    Cons

    Some projects can be fairly disorganized. Vendors tend to run game on many of them. Often teams work in silos.

    Pros

    Online modules called fast tracks keep you up to date with the newest training on products and services There is a employee support line which helps with system issues

    Cons

    Most new hires are just thrown on to the sales floor and expected to sell There are huge disconnects between each department of the company thinking one department can do things they can not The call centres and stores actually seem to work to make each others jobs harder The programs they use are so outdated (1980s software) and they have not figured out a way to migrate the customers onto a newer and more stable platform. Sometimes there are unrealistic sales targets Commission somehow is steadily decreased while targets are increased.

    Advice to Management

    The sales associates are the ones who deal with your customers and we know more about their concerns, you should ask and use our input to make your company better rather than assume what you are doing is right.

    Company offers good perks, employee discounts, 50% of all Rogers services.

    Cons

    Can be very hard to move up the ladder, management mostly allows latteral movement

    Advice to Management

    Give more training and let employees have experience in other depts of the company.
