    I have been working at Rogers Communications full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

    Rogers is a good company to work for. I have been with them almost 20 years and they have always been fair and equitable in their dealings with me. I have held many positions over the years and they are flexible in allowing movement in the company.

    Cons

    Rogers is not seen as a major player in the Alberta marketplace. I have been unable to make any breakthroughs in the new direction toward IP Telephony with any major clients.

    Advice to Management

    Provide better support for the regions via investment in fibre assets and technical support resources.

    Pros

    The job is not difficult; your duties are fairly straight forward, and there is always a fairly simple way to solve a customers issue

    Cons

    Customers have to be the only con of this job. You never know what type of problems they bring to you. sometimes they're problems are not something you can solve, and they don't accept "no" for an answer.

    Advice to Management

    help train employees on products and services more. we are often put in a sink or swim situation, and not having the knowledge about our services only creates a bad impression on the company

    Pros

    good pay but you have to work for it great stock options, also great rrsp and retirement fund

    Cons

    hours are pretty bad management is pretty bad stress is a lot at all times targets are hard to hit when everyone is a butt people

    Pros

    fun environment, very challenging but it is rewarding if you put the effort in and stick it out. it will pay off at the end

    Cons

    No real cons that I have experienced so far as I am new to the company and dont have much experience yet

    Advice to Management

    my only advice to management would be to try to connect with the employees a little more than they already do

    Management and coworkers were great! Loved my job in this location so much!

    Pros

    Flex time, discounts, employee share matching plan, location is flexible for most jobs, main offices have a gym.

    Cons

    A lot of red tape, management lacks action, unequal pay for same job
