    Pros

The meridian center is right near downtown within walking distance of Georgia Street, the circle, and Lucas Oil Stadium. The office building is up-to-date and even offers its own cafeteria and starbucks.

    Cons

Some managers seem to lack good HR skills.

    Pros

Very friendly environment, they train you in the things you'll be doing and some more. You'll walk out with a smile and more knowledge.

    Cons

The salary can be a bit better for the full time positions (from what I saw) and they should give a bit more room for moving around in the facility

    Advice to Management

Keep what you are doing, motivate your engineers, increase your worker's benefits and create a better hiring procedure. The current one is not that good.

I worked at Rolls-Royce as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great working environment, tons of opportunity for young employees. Good benefits and compensation. Only reason I didn't return there full time upon graduation was family related and couldn't stay in Indianapolis.

    Cons

For some people, it seems like there may be a lot of travel involved at times. Some people may look at this as a pro, but it's inconvenient for my home life. Compounding this is the potential for a lot of this travel to be international. Rolls has an open work environment which may rub some people the wrong way, but I think it creates a great team environment.

I have been working at Rolls-Royce full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

As an engineer at Rolls-Royce, your job role may range from a highly technical role (fluid systems analyst) to report writing. In any role, however, you are guaranteed to be constantly learning. The Indianapolis campus produces several of its own engines, designed by the former Allison Engine Company (bought out by Rolls-Royce in the mid 90's). However, the Indianapolis team is in the process of becoming more globally-oriented. Therefore, depending on your role, you may work, to varying degrees, using the British, American, or German design process. This provides good opportunities for not just technical learning but also process and intercultural learning. The company invests a large amount in R&D, making it

    Cons

The company is slow to adopt change in software and functions quite bureaucratically. These factors are understandable and typical of large corporations, but can have a significant effect on work efficiency.

    Advice to Management

Consider ways to act more efficiently with respect to development work
