I have been working at Romtelecom full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Some brilliant ideas. Smart people, open minded, mostly older ones..

    Cons

Poor execution of any strategy. Most high level managers really s..k in understanding the market therefor such poor customer experience eg: sales, marketing, procurement, CEO-s.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Look more to your customers. Get rid of your 100.000 Euro/mobster carsS at your next purchase and get realistic. People/potential payers are still leaving your customer database at a rate you cannot replace (500.000/year)? Is it possible such a huge enterprise has 0 or loss instead of profit many years in a row?

I have been working at Romtelecom full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Nice workplace with many opportunities to upgrade or change positions. Relaxed program. Salaries are pretty good and you have also some extra bonuses like meal tickets or other.

    Cons

Middle management can be completely incompetent but remains in position due to team's work or favoritism (but that's nothing new for corporate world). However if their evaluation is lower than 100% (they didn't manage to reach their KPIs) he/she will immediately justify this failure in the team members evaluations, even if in reality they deserved a 150%.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

HR should asses more thoroughly people in management positions and also grant increases in salary to non management employees more often.
