Current Employee – been working at Rose International full-time for more than 10 years
Pros – I had worked at a conventional application development job before becoming a consultant for Rose. They showed me how poorly compensated and respected I was in my old jobs. I have been assigned to several consulting jobs and have benefitted my family by having much better compensation. I've benefited professionallty too. I've been able to meet so many more professional connections and work on challenging varied technical assignments. This has been a very rewarding career move for me. All of the Rose people took a very genuine liking to me and they have treated me like family and a friend. When I got to the end of my first assignment, it was a bit scarry....the uncertain feeling that you get.....but the Rose people had a strong local job presence and they keep me informed of opportunities that they had me submitted to. The likelyhood of not having a job seems to be something I am no longer worried about.
Cons – The benefits at Rose have declined since I first started working with them. I know that benefits have declined in all markets, but I had hoped that our benefits would have or could have remained better.
Advice to Senior Management – Your government group is the best. Please continue to support that group and their staff. They have built a strong positive presence within the state and local government circle.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Current Employee – been working at Rose International full-time for more than 3 years
Pros – Flexibility in schedule, management does not come around.
Cons – Management treats employees poorly. Low pay. Health Benefits are horrible. Little to no room for advancement. Discourage innovation or ideas that could make the company more profitable. Money in their pocket is top priority. Little to no communication. Training program is a joke.
Advice to Senior Management – Learn how to manage. Create better training. Empower your people and encourage ideas. Pay better. Have managers who can actually build relationships with clients so our candidates have a better opportunity for consideration/hire. Have an internal site for all advancement opportunities. Show respect, humility and enthusiasm. Get out from behind your desk and actually see/hear what your employees are doing/saying and ask them what is going well with the company as well as what roadblocks they are seeing. Understand that Change is inevitable.

Current Employee – been working at Rose International full-time for less than a year
Pros – You are pretty much on your own
Cons – The only time you hear from them is when they want something and it's always right away. They decided to change the pay schedule without written notice and then shorted my pay by one week. Now I have to wait three weeks to get paid for two.
Advice to Senior Management – Act like your employees are your best asset.

Current Employee – been working at Rose International full-time for less than a year
Pros – I can find no pro to working with Rose International except that somehow they seem to be the exclusive contractor for Kaiser. A Kaiser manager wanted me and had them process me. The Pro would therefore be if you want to get into Kaiser Permanente you must go through Rose International to contract work.
Cons – There is virtually no contact, no response to emails. I was told to get hiring materials back as soon as possible due to the lengthy hiring process for Kaiser, but then got no answer to emails unless I copied HR and followed up serveral times asking for confirmation of receipt and a reply. No office in the region I work in is not conducive to communication when the Company's business hours are CST.
An office person gave me the wrong info about setting up direct deposit. After literally almost a dozen emails to payroll, including getting the correct information by the new deadline, I was sent a check via Fed Ex. It was not printed, but handwritten large looped handwriting in baby blue ink. Needless to say the Bank wanted to confirm that it was accurate. Another few days without pay.
The scenarios I have shared, in my opinion, are totally absurd and unprofessional. Basic professionalism should be a requirement at an agency placing workers with professional organizations, it does not seem to be at Rose International.
Advice to Senior Management – Invest in qualified, skilled staffers. Less stress on your contract workers will make for happier contract workers and in kind happier employer clients.

Former Employee – worked at Rose International as a contractor for more than a year
Pros – Contractor work in a bad economy, so at least you have work especially if you don't care what type of work is assigned to you.
Cons – False hopes of potentially being hired by the contracting client. Contracts being reuined for work without wages being re-negotiaed, no health benefits, no vacation time at all.
Advice to Senior Management – Match a 401k plan, provide benefits for contractors, provide paid vacation for contractors, provide paid sick leave and salary re-negotians.

Former Employee – worked at Rose International as a contractor for more than a year
Pros – Possesses all the tools and support to allow you to do your job while they handle all the business of payments and negotiations. Everything from time sheets to contracts can be handled via the web or over the phone and they have the experience and resources to get you the advice and help you need, when you need it.
Cons – I did not have any adverse experiences with them
Advice to Senior Management – Speaking personally it would be nice that in the last weeks of the clients contract an agent could start discussing with the contractor about new opportunities and upcoming contracts.

Former Employee – worked at Rose International full-time for less than a year
Pros – Quick to hire, but they are also lose employee fast.
Cons – Very low pay, full time employees are offered benefits (and they are bad) only after completion of 90 days. Micro Management, Zero flexibility and Employees are treated very bad. Unprofessional company with bad ethics.
In summary, if you want to work in a company that treats employees with respect then this is NOT that company. As an employee, I think getting respect is primary compared to all other factors such as compensation, flexibility, etc.
Advice to Senior Management – Please treat your employees with respect, they are NOT your slaves. I don't think the company cares about this advice, but I hope this information will help someone deciding to join this company.
