    Pros

Working with smart and energetic people.
Firm's many initiatives for Work Life Balance.
Very generous vacation policy as compared to industry.

    Cons

Long hours during busy season (but that's to be expected in Public Accounting) and hours are better as compared to other public accounting firms.

    Pros

They paid for dinner if you stayed late and car service if you were in the office late as well.

    Cons

Deceitful in their employment practices. I was hired full-time permanently only to find out that the company was being bought out by KPMG and that the last few people hired would be the first to be laid-off.

    Advice to Management

Don't hire people permanently when you know that the company's future is unstable.

    Pros

It had great benefits and a great workplace environment. It also had a good work/life balance. And it paid overtime.

    Cons

Being bought out by KPMG. Bye bye mid-size perks. Also, inter-office work teams and interactions were not nearly as efficient as working with team members located in one's local office.

    Advice to Management

Wish you wouldn't have sold the firm. We were doing so well.

    Pros

Good pay and benefits; good professional support/ongoing credits; variety of clients

    Cons

office culture - if you fit in with a clique, great, if not, tough luck! Seniors could care less about staff.

    Advice to Management

Don't let staff get stuck with just one senior in the beginning - make sure they work equally with everyone
