    Better than average

Customer Services Representative (Current Employee) Toronto, ON (Canada)

ProsGood overall compensation package, includes salary, yearly bonus, benefits, profit sharing, pension est. However salary along is below average and you get increases below 2% a year, so make sure if you start working here you start on a good amount.

ConsVery difficult to move up if you do not have any connections. They want you to work in one position all your life for the same money.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

Good company need to step up

Sales and Service Representative (Former Employee) Nassau (Bahamas)

ProsGood Management, seem to care about employees, opportunities are available in different regions

ConsTechnology is out of date. Tends to be an industry follower as opposed to a leader.

Advice to Senior ManagementListen to customers for enhancements to product line. Take some risks.

Everything you'd expect of a huge bank.

Software Developer (Current Employee) Toronto, ON (Canada)

ProsGood benefits, ok if not stellar compensation, reasonable work/life balance, supportive HR policies.

ConsAnte-deluvian technology, horrible, noisy, open plan offices, more bureaucracy than you can possibly imagine and a total lack of space for creativity of any type.

Advice to Senior ManagementDump at least half the processes currently in place, admit that you have 20 years of technology debt to repay, at least to attempt to provide an environment that might attract a few talented people to join.

    Overrun by administrators

Senior Account Manager (Former Employee) Vancouver, BC (Canada)

ProsThey have a lending program for virtually every industry and/or asset type.

ConsCommercial lending is strictly 'paint-by-numbers'. Limited ability (or desire) to lend outside of policy regardless of borrower quality. The administration department is all-powerful.

Advice to Senior ManagementReview the deals being declined or heavily-conditioned by GRM - you may be surprised by the quality of business that is being lost to competitors.

    A very disappointing experience

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) London, England (UK)

ProsCompensation good and above the average, Good fellow workers and location for commuting was very central which reduced commuting time.

ConsCulture terrible, Capital markets management very much old boys club with no consideration for work life balance or listening to their staff

Advice to Senior ManagementWhen you employ staff for specific reasons and goals you need to listen to them and not promote a counter productive culture where doing the wrong thing is promoted

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

    Overall

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

    ProsGood Job Stability and benefits

ConsPaid is not that good considering all responsibilities and tasks requiered
